Tree Hugging Hippies!

Hey everyone,
I was very kindly invited by Sam to take part in the Tale of 4(+) Gamers, so let me introduce myself.

My name is Jamie and Ive been playing Warhammer for far to many years!
I managed to get on something of a roll this year with army painting and want to continue into 2010.

So to this end Im going to be doing Wood Elves for the tale, mainly because I have a High and Dark Elf army and want to complete the set!

I want my Woodies to be only elves, no trees and mainly themed towards Wardancers as they are one of my fav units in the game.

So Ill be spending the entire £50 on Wardancers which I worked out to be 21 of them!

    Hello there jamie and welcome to the tale of, we need some abuse and drive to actally do an army or we may not bother, gamers!!!

    Sounds like a gd plan, wardancers are awesome.

    Hi Jamie, glad someone is doing wood elves (I was told I had to do a new army) not that you could really call my effort an army... any ideas on a season? I did autumn?

    Hey, thanks for the welcome!
    I think Im going to do summer, as I think its the least done season for wood elves! Also Ive been painting alot of Orks and have a thing for painting green at the mo!

    Haven't you already got a wood elf army?
    And could you do some other things with a wardancer theme like warhawk riders or gladeguard?

    I have an old wood elf army which I painted in a couple of weeks for an event and they are not very good, so this will be a new one.

    After reading the book again I decided to go for a winter theme army, as this fits with having no trees. The main units active in the winter are Eternal guard so they will also feature quite heavy in the army. Tho I am planning to make them plastic out of glade guard and rider parts.
